Downtown historic McCormick celebrates it’s heritage during the 41st Gold Rush Festival on Sat. Sept. 15, 2018. There will be numerous activities throughout the day to enjoy including: Main Street parade, pancake breakfast at the United Methodist Church, Shops to explore such as the Red Rooster, Artisans Guild at the MACK and Books on Main. Our historic sites including the Train Depot, Dorn Mill Complex, and the All Aboard Train House (model trains exhibit) and pan for gold at the Heritage Park Gold Mine and Train rides in town by Emerald Farms. Local Artisans will be demonstrating and selling their work and enjoy numerous arts and crafts exhibits throughout the town. Special Entertainment by Lady Jai and the Flavor Band, from Atlanta, Ga.
