A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas
Cast Requirements

Laura Ingalls- 10-14 years old, tomboyish, pa’s favorite, must be able to sing

Mary Ingalls- 15-16 years old, oldest child, must be able to sing

Carrie Ingalls- 5-7 years old, youngest of girls, must be able to sing some with siblings

Ma Ingalls- 40-50 years old, wife of Charles, beloved mother, sweet yet strong-willed, must be able to sing-soprano or alto

Pa Ingalls- 40-50 years old, patriarch of family, good and proud man, must be able to play either fiddle or guitar and able to sing some

Johnny Steadman- 10-12 years old, walks with a limp, bully to Ingalls girls

Miss Starr- 50-60 years old, wealthiest woman in town, must be able to sing

Pip/Paddy- Laura’s favorite horses, must be able to dance

Townspeople/pickpockets- variety of people-young and old-including 6-8 children, able to sing songs such as: Silent Night, Sing the Clouds Away, All Through the Night, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and Polly Waddle Doodle

All interested should come in with a prepared Christmas song of their choice and be familiar with Sing the Clouds Away Night Will Turn to Day by Virgil P. Brock and Blanche Kerr Brock. (This may be found on YouTube
