The Father Daughter Gala celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year. The event will be held on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 18th, 2017 at the Legends Club in Augusta. This year is particularly significant since the Gala is benefiting the Augusta Warrior Project, also celebrating its 10th year.
The Annual Father Daughter Gala has celebrated the unique bond between fathers and daughters since 2008. This evening of elegance features first-class entertainment, fine dining, dancing, and lifelong memories, not just for fathers and daughters, but for entire families and friends. This year, the Gala is expanding to include an exclusive Golf Tournament at First Tee on Saturday, June 17, 2017.
Ryan Mahoney will serve as Emcee of the Gala with all its wonderful surprises, ensuring an unforgettable experience for men, women, boys and girls of all ages as they spend time with Dad on his special day.
Each year, the proceeds from the Gala are donated to local non-profit organizations. This year, the Gala continues its efforts to build a strong and vibrant community through supporting the Augusta Warrior Project.
Augusta Warrior Project (AWP) is the only local non-profit organization of its kind that brings together all the necessary resources to help local Warriors – wounded or not – and their Families. AWP takes a comprehensive focus to overcoming the challenges local Warriors and their Families face. The organization was established in 2007 in recognition of a need to organize the community, share information, share goals and work together to resolve wounded Warriors’ and Veterans’ issues.
