The American Red Cross and Savannah Lakes Village will conduct a blood drive on Dec. 26 at the SLV Recreation center, from 12:30 to 5 p.m. The demand for blood does not decrease during the holiday season and donors are needed to help the Red Cross meet the demand. Donors can make appointments online at www.redcrossblood.org. Enter the sponsor code SAVANNAHLAKES and select a time. Walk-ins are also welcome. Each donor will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt and a coupon good for a free Croissan’wich at Burger King in McCormick.
