About This Years Event: Join us at the Anderson Civic Center for the 2017 Gain Momentum Business Exposition and Taste of the Chamber. This is a family-friendly, pro-business and community event! This year’s Expo has been revamped to better showcase local Chamber businesses. Spend the evening getting to know area businesses, their professionals, products and the services they provide. You can sample a variety of delicious food from local restaurants. This year it’s not just shrimp and grits, restaurants will be providing a sample of what they serve at their establishments.

In 2016 the Art Slam Live was introduced to the Gain Momentum Business Exposition. With the help of the Anderson Arts Center we are bringing back the Art Slam for 2017! Art Slam Live is a live art event mixed with visual art and friendly competition, to music and performed before a live audience. The competing artists have no idea what the theme or subject matter will be until minutes before they go “live.” Artists have limited time to express their vision before a live audience. When time is called the winner is determined by the viewers!
