On Sept 8th, 2018 we are having a “Wilderness Awareness for Women” day here in Iva SC at our WAC Outdoors Camp. The event runs from 9:00am till 3:00pm. Coffee, breakfast bars, and muffins will be provided in the morning. Lunch will be provided. Scott and Kathy Moore will be your instructors. We are also proud to announce that Melonie Jackson Stanger will be in attendance as a guest instructor!
Come learn the skills to:
walk through the woods with confidence.
Become hard to loose and easy to find.
Learn how to “Lost proof” your children.
We will cover Fire, Shelter, Navigation, Signaling, and water, using items that can be bought at any discount store. We are also going to do an “Introduction to Archery” where we will teach the basics of shooting a bow, and give everyone a chance to try. Class size is limited to 16 students.
