BARK IN THE PARK!
The Humane Society of McCormick County will host a day of tail-wagging fun for you and your furry friends on Saturday October 14th from 10AM-2PM at the MACK Park.
The morning begins with a “blessing of the pets” at 10am followed by agility run trials from 11am – 1 pm. Start rehearsing with Rover to showcase his or hers talents in the “Best Trick Contest” to be held at 1:30.
Join HSMC for a delicious bar-b-que lunch of pulled pork with 2 sides and bread for only a $10 donation (advance tickets available at the Chamber of Commerce or from HSMC volunteers) and top it off with a dessert from the Kitty Kakes Bake Sale.
Have fun with Fido at “Splashtown”, take a chance on a raffle ticket, schedule a tour of the HSMC shelter or score big with free dog costumes offered throughout the day. In addition, 20 free spay/neuter vouchers (good for cats too!) will be offered to the first 20 people (must be a McCormick County resident.)
