The City of Anderson Christmas Parade is held annually on the first Sunday in December at 3 p.m. The only exception to this is when the first Sunday falls during the Thanksgiving weekend. When this occurs, it will be held on the second Sunday in December. It will take place rain or shine. A limited number of entries are accepted through a pre-determined deadline in November. Entry forms are available beginning in mid-September each year. The parade route is on Main Street from the intersection of Greenville Street through downtown to the intersection of River Street.
